A new kitchen is one of those things most homeowners dream of, unfortunately, life gets in the way. When it does come time to do it, sacrifices are often made in order to bring the costs within budget. Formica is substituted for granite and the hardwood cabinets are undercut by particle board. At Built By Design we want you to have all of the best materials for the cost of a budget kitchen. Years of searching for the right suppliers and subcontractors has allowed us to offer a high-end kitchen for an economy price.
One thing we've found over the years is that the markup on kitchen material, labor and appliances is the highest in the industry. By cutting out some of this markup we have been able to pass the savings on to our customers. We still do $80,000 kitchens where people want a custom line of cabinets and imported Italian marble but more and more we have focused on kitchens in the $10,000 to $20,000 range. A range that has previously been filled with formica and MDF. We can now offer granite, hardwood cabinets, rollout garbage, under cabinet lighting, tile backsplash and many of the amenities of the $40,000 plus kitchens.
We did the legwork of finding all of the best prices form suppliers all over the northeast and now you can reap the benefits. The quality hasn't been sacrificed, just the middlemen.
